Chief Executive Officer
In 2009, Gerard and MHC Executive Chairman Eric Werner co-founded MHC. Under their leadership, the company has grown to become one of the UK’s fastest growing consulting companies. In his position as the CEO, Gerard is passionate about building strategic partnerships and in going the extra mile to support MHC’s clients on the transformative journeys they take.
Gerard began his career in Cash Management Operations at Bank of America where he spent 10 years in a variety of Operations and Change the Bank projects. He held a number of senior Board Level roles at significant professional services companies before co-founding Simplex Consulting in 1997, the UK’s first SWIFT bureau service. He sold the company in 2003 and joined forces with Eric Werner in 2005.View Profile
Chief Operating Officer
Camilla joined MHC’s Shared Services team in 2013. As Chief Operating Officer, she heads up our Shared Services functions of Legal, Operations and HR. She is also a qualified solicitor specialising in corporate and commercial law, with strong expertise in commercial contracts, IT law, outsourcing/insourcing, global supply chain management, cross border transaction and employment matters.
Camilla’s contribution to MHC has recently been recognised by her being featured in the ‘Women in FinTech 2017 Powerlist’ by the membership foundation Innovate Finance. Furthermore, in 2018 she was shortlisted as ‘Business Leader of the Year’ in the Women in IT Awards.
Camilla started her career within financial services at Law Debenture Trust Corporation working as a corporate trustee focusing on capital markets and corporate finance based in both London and New York. Camilla then trained and qualified as a solicitor at the leading international French firm, Gide Loyrette Nouel LLP, where she specialised in corporate and banking & finance law, spending time working in London and Hong Kong with an array of the Gide’s top institutional banking clients. Camilla also serves as MHC’s company secretary and holds a number of internal compliance related positions.View Profile
John joined MHC in 2013 as Managing Director to spearhead MHC’s sales and business development departments. His results driven, customer focused approach has since been pivotal in expanding the company’s global business levels and offering, while maintaining an exceptional level of on-site support to clients and strategic partners. Currently John leads a number of our key strategic accounts and is responsible for developing MHC’s key practices such as Cyber Security, Ecosystem Monitoring and Technology Infrastructure.
John began his career in IT recruitment consultancy, specialising in sourcing high level candidates for financial institutions and consultancies. Prior to him joining MHC, John acted as the Head of UK Business Development for a Frankfurt based niche consultancy Networker Projektberatung. In this role he built the firm’s offering around the search, selection and training of IT specialists required by Tier 1 Financial Services institutions across Europe, North America and APAC.View Profile
Barry joined MHC in 2018 as Global Head of Talent Acquisition. He heads up our Global Fulfilment team and is responsible for making sure we maintain and continue to build a workforce of ‘best in class’ consultant talent accessible by MHC’s delivery teams and clients across the globe.
An industry expert with more than 28 years of successful experience in full life cycle talent acquisition, Barry started out his career as an IT Recruiter back in 1990. He was instrumental in building, as part of the Executive Team, an IT Recruitment company that went on to achieve a full UK stock market listing in 1996. Since then he has gone onto build several recruitment firms focusing on the technology markets.

Chief Technology Officer
Jonathan joined MHC in 2009 as an Associate Director and was subsequently promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer in 2017. Jon is an experienced Project Manager and Consultant in the Financial Services industry, particularly within the Operations and IT sectors having worked on projects for both market practitioners and technology vendors within the wealth management, fund management and investment banking communities.
In his current role as CTO at MHC headquarters, Jon has overall responsibility for the management of internal IT systems. He also manages a team responsible for the MHC Insight application, including all associated research and development and implementation projects.View Profile
Martin is a financial services professional with over 40 years’ experience working in London within the financial services sector. Martin joined MHC as a member of the management board in January 2016 and is currently responsible for overall delivery management across a number of our large strategic accounts.
His career has spanned Retail, Commercial, and Investment Banking working for Lloyds Bank, CIC Union Europeane National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Deutsche Bank. His career in Deutsche Bank spanned 26 years and throughout the years he held a number of senior operational line management roles and programme managed a series of major global change initiatives across the bank, gaining a proven track record in both Operations and Change Management.
Martin possesses strong change capability and leadership qualities due to his experience on a variety of Programme Management roles across a number of large and complex initiatives. With his senior stakeholder management expertise and strategic thinking, he keeps a practical and grounded view on implementations and strategic programmes. Business Development Director
Yogi joined MHC in 2019 as Business Development Director. Yogi has over 25 years’ experience working at senior executive level within the Financial Services and Investment Banking sector in New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Russia. His career has included over 10 years as a Senior Director of KPMG Consultancy Practices and he is a leading expert in all areas of strategy, business development, programme management, service delivery, account management and consultancy.View Profile
Director, Head of Treasury
Simon is a Group Treasurer with 30 years’ experience who, during his career, has developed and re-engineering global Treasury functions to become centres of excellence in Global Financial Institutions.
Simon has successfully managed Global Treasury functions during periods of significant business change and extreme stress events. He has deep knowledge and interpretation of the prudential regulatory framework, and its application within Treasury and the wider business environment.
His advisory experience has been established in working with a range of Financial Institutions to deliver high profile Treasury projects and develop robust Liquidity Risk frameworks, composing, managing and undertaking review and assessments of ILAAP, ICAAP, liquidity contingency plans, liquidity policies, methodologies and calibration of stress testing and modelling.View Profile
Director, Head of Financial Crime
Laurence joined MHC in 2020 as Head of Financial Crime. In addition to being a financial crime subject matter expert, he has also spent many years as a COO and a Programme Manager, leveraging his comprehensive understanding of global banking and markets products, financial and cyber-crime risks and controls, and the UK regulatory environment. This is underpinned by 15 years’ experience in financial services operations management roles.
Recognised for driving transformation across complex business environments in a number Tier 1 banks, Laurence leverages his strategic experience and strong communication skills to guide senior stakeholders and influence decision-makers, to achieve the desired business outcomes. We encourage staff to support charities close to their hearts and our company and colleagues will always aim to help out with fundraising and an array of other activities.
For many seriously ill babies and children, research is their only hope. That is why MHC actively supports our chosen charity of Sparks and encourages staff to take part in a whole host of activities to raise money for our company charity.
Sparks’ mission is to raise money for child health research projects across the UK, which are funded through a joint programme with GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) Charity. Together, GOSH Charity and Sparks fund more pioneering research to find new ways to diagnose, treat and cure childhood diseases.
